CAS: LAUNCH Scanners Now Certified to Access Secure Gateway Module (SGW)

Canada Auto Solutions, LAUNCH authorized distributor in Canada, has announced that LAUNCH aftermarket diagnostic scan tools are now certified by FCA U.S. to access the Secure Gateway Module (SGW) on many 2018 and newer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, FIAT and Alfa Romeo vehicles.

LAUNCH Throttle and LAUNCH Torque owners in Canada require a simple software update to unlock SGW, safely and securely without any breach of copy-write.

The reason behind introducing the SGW was to keep vehicle communication networks secure and protect electronic control modules from being exposed to potential hacking or violations of terms of use.

Today, Throttle and Torque owners in Canada can perform full function diagnosis on new models of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, FIAT and Alfa Romeo. That includes, clearing DTs, Performing all Bidirectional Functions, Calibrations, Relearns, Actuations and Adjustments.

Canada Auto Solutions is offering free consultation for interested Throttle and Torque owners remotely and in-person. Moreover, following the upgrade, customers will be offered free training to make sure everything is running smooth.

Finally, in the next few months, CAS is expecting to add PAD II and PAD III to the LAUNCH scanners with access to SGW. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
