- Open the engine cover, and hang the main unit under the cover
- Disconnect the pipe which needs to be connected with main unit. If the pipe’s two sides need to be disconnected, make sure the other side is blocked with a rubber stopple
- Make sure this side with proper taper stopple/pipe, and connect it with smoke output tube
- Connect the main unit with DC12V battery: Red with positive, Black with negative
- Turn on the power switch, the main unit starts to work
- In 2 minutes, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check and find the leak points. Please use light or head lamp if necessary
- After finding out leak location, then connect pipes or wires well.
